Events
Events are the most self-defining things in our lives and these Events are Also the most Misunderstood things in our lives.
(Our resumes, ribbons of merit and obituaries are all based on Events)
So, how much do we really understand about how events occur? Our authorities tell us that events occur by the process of “cause & effect”. Cause & Effect is endemic to every facet of the system that we are born into.
After you initiate something do the ripples that follow seem rational? Or, too often do you feel blindsided and confused?
Could the illogical and irrational behavior of Life’s response be the result of us believing in “Cause & Effect” and Life following a different process?
Maybe it is time that we looked into the implicit process of Cause & Effect and compared it to what we see and observe when Life responds to our initiative.
So, with these thoughts in mind, initiate an EVENT consciously and watch and make mental notes (and written notes) of how life responds. For me, Cause & Effect has two steps; I initiate something and I may or may not see my expected result. If I do see my expected result of my initiative I feel good. If I don’t see the expected result then I (with the help of the mind) think of some thing or person to blame, then I feel OK. Either way, with the occasional use of placing the blame, the process of Cause & Effect is validated and we go on thinking that we understand life.
By paying attention and noticing how Life responds to our initiative we come to know Life’s process of bringing an Event into being. Life includes two additional steps to Cause & Effect for an Event to occur. The two additional steps or forces are in between the “Cause” and the “Effect” and they are both, like the wind, invisible which is why they are not so obvious. And, being invisible we can only know them like we know the wind.
Here’s the matrix of Life’s process for you to consider;
First Step or Force Initiative (cause)
Second Step of Force Resistance (traction)
Third Step or Force Inspiration (solution)
Forth Step of Force Feedback (effect)
First Force is referred to as the initiative and Second Force expresses acceptance, passivity or resistance. When the first & second force oppose each other toe to toe and face to face there is a tension generated and transmitted that’s like a child crying out for help, mostly inaudible but it’s there. An example of this is a point at which there is a buyer (first force) and a seller (second force) of a house; think of all of the help that is needed to guide this initiative through to closing which is usually done by a realtor (third force). If there is insufficient third force there will not be a closing.
Third Force has the nature of reconciling or the neutralizing and often acts as a catalyst to the other two forces. Third Force is attracted to the tension that is present when First Force and Second Force are face to face in opposition to each other. Third force provides the guidance, intelligence and occasionally Love for First Force and Second Force to interact and bring about an event, for without Third Force there can be no “event”. Third Force is on the level of the third state of consciousness. When Third force acts as a catalyst; it provides a bridging between the two forces. Plato’s Timaeous in the chapter on “The Creators Model” observes and describes this matrix in detail.
Fourth Force is standing back after the event and evaluating what just happened. Did it meet your visualized objective and now you feel thankfulness? Or did it lack something and needs an adjustment and another go at it? And was there some part of this event that could be shared with others.
